Hey there! My name is Brennan McCarthy. Thanks for visiting my personal website, let me tell you a bit about myself!
I grew up in one the of nation’s best BBQ states, North Carolina. I went to college and lived five years in Chicago, a world class city that changed my perspective on life. Although I loved the city, I’m now in Colorado Springs, and I gotta say… the mountains are amazing! There is nothing like climbing to the top of a peak to see the vast mountain ranges stretch off in the distance.
I’ll listen to any kind of music. Alternative. Rap. Folk. Jazz. You name the song and I’ll probably like it. I also play the cajón… but don’t fooled, I’m no musician. I like to mountain bike, swim, play disc golf, and explore. Oh – and I like to travel… a lot.
Although I have a lot of passions, my underlying motivation has always been to connect with people. For the last few years, I’ve helped others with Sexual Addiction Recovery, Urban Youth Development, Personal Finance, and Faith Journeys.
I met my wife Rachel while we were attending Moody Bible Institute, and we were happily married in December of 2019! Rachel is an amazing woman, and I’m so blessed to have her as my wife. You can learn more about her at RachelMcCarthy.org.
I’ve been taking photos, making videos, writing, speaking, publishing, and working on small businesses for many years now!

If that’s not enough, I’ve also created a book! Dear Professor is a book I created during my time at college, and Chicago Retold was a major journalistic project I completed while I was living in the city. I’ve worked on a number of other cool projects too, like The Rewired Conference.
